Micro-Needling

Micro-needling is an effective form of skin rejuvenation, tackling many concers including acne scars or stretch marks, dark spots and freckles caused by the sun, as well as skin laxity, wrinkles, and large pores.

Micro-needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive, non surgical procedure for skin rejuvenation.  It involves the use of a micro-needling device to create controlled micro-injury which, in turn, helps the skin to help itself.

Each fine needle creates a channel, or micro-wound to the dermis.  This controlled micro injury triggers the body to stimulate the wound healing response and encourage the body to renew the skin cells. Fibroblasts and growth factors are stimulated to fill these micro-wounds with new collagen and elastin.  Skin needling provides results similar to laser resurfacing and deep chemical peels but at a fraction of the cost and with minimal discomfort or downtime.

What can I expect from the treatment?

You may experience temporary redness and swelling in the area that was treated, this will go down after a few hours, rarely, this can last for a few days.

Before your treatment, numbing cream is applied to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. Once numbing has fully set in, your practitioner will provide you with a facial cleanse, followed by an enzyme peel to gently resurface the skin and aid skin renewal before your microneedling treatment commences.
Hyaluronic acid serum is deposited onto the skin to minimise friction, ease gliding and maximise results by infusing the skin with hydration.

How many treatments will I need?

A course of 3-6 treatments, once a month is recomended.

£99 per treatment

£499 for six treatments
